Manufacturers DCS

PBS received their first manufacturers certification in 1995 from Ford. Since that time we have continually focused on adding functionality for dealer communications to the factory.

PBS is a founding member of STAR, Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail.  STAR has been a big part of the success in stream lining the data interchange between dealerships and the factory.

We see the Dealer Communications System (DCS) component of the DMS becoming more critical. Manufacturers are looking for more real time data and dealers expect timely responses to queries. This has driven the development of DCS into the core of the DMS software, parts availability and orders are verified and submitted directly from the DMS to the factory.
